Our dynamic camp director comes to us with a large variety of skills and experience working in leadership roles and with children and youth. She loves being able to provide an opportunity for children and youth to grow and experience something new. Being outside in nature will be a huge highlight for Nichole this summer. She is an outside the box thinker which will ensure that you have the most fun and exciting experience at camp this summer! Get ready for tons of high fives from Nichole as you hit the heights at St Volodymyr camp!
Welcome back to our fun loving and high energy counselor Mackenzie! This will be her second summer as a counselor at St Volodymyr Camp! She is so excited to help all campers get the best out of their experience. She loves trying new things and meeting new people. Be ready for building so many friendships with Mackenzie this summer at St Volodymyr Camp!
So great to have our fun and friendly counselor Veronika, back again for her 2nd year as a camp counselor! Veronika loves to find opportunities to promote and express her Ukrainian and Catholic background in fun and creative ways. Being from Ukraine she speak English, Ukrainian and Russian! She has experience volunteering at St Joseph’s Home, Ukraninian Day in the Park and for Stream of Hope Fashion Show (Fundraiser for ill children in Ukraine). Veronika had so much fun last year as a counselor she can’t wait to do it all again with you! Prepare to make some great memories with lovely Veronika this summer at St Volodymyr Camp!
Jenna is a powerhouse of skills and experience as she starts her 3rd year as a counselor here at camp. She loves leading sports and creative play with all the campers. She is outgoing with a positive attitude. Are you ready to sing songs around the camp fire with Jenna? She can’t wait to see you all there!
Katrina is the newest counselor to St Volodymyr Camp. She is enthusiastic and energetic and can’t wait to provide children with the opportunity to gain confidence, self-sufficiency and to make new friends. Katrina believes camp is a very important part of growing up! She is passionate about her Ukrainian Catholic faith and has attended many conferences, retreats and even World Youth Day in 2016! You are going to love singing and dancing each day with Katrina this summer at camp!
Luke (AKA Lev) loves to work hard and play hard! This is Luke’s 4th year as a counselor and is super stoked to prepare an experience of a life time for all our campers. He’s fast, he’s loud and full of good times! Luke also volunteers with group activities at Big Brothers Big Sisters in his free time. What a cool guy!
Taras is back for more! Long time camper, now CIT, he is very excited to be a part of camp and help make it even better every year (if that’s even possible!) He is bursting with leadership skills from his experience in Junior achievement and Cadets! He also brings a variety of skills and interests to the team like sports, singing, dancing and making people laugh. Taras is determined to make sure the kids enjoy summer camp as much (or even more!) than he did. You will love spending time with this fun loving, happy and friendly CIT.
Sean has been a long time camper, now CIT at St Volodymyr Camp and is very familiar with all the great experiences camp has to offer. He loves soccer, ball hockey and football and also plays the drums and enjoys listening to music. Sean can’t wait to lead our campers in fun outdoor rec and swimming activities and is looking forward to an awesome time at the Pike Lake excursion! You can count on Sean to provide everyone with a great experience at camp this year.
Joseph loves to EAT, he also loved attending camp first as a camper and then as a CIT last summer. He is back in action for an opportunity to be a part of this years amazing camp He is looking forward to camp fires, nature walks and field games with all of his new friends, ALL OF YOU! Joseph’s favorite part of camp is meeting new people and making new friends. Can you out eat Joseph at the dinner table? We will soon find out!
Anna-Maria is very involved in the Ukrainian Community and can’t wait to share her skills and experience with you all. She is an active member of St Peter and Paul junior youth group/Parish and dances with Veshianka (Ukrainian Dance). She wants to make a positive, educational and fun experience for everyone this summer and can’t wait to build long lasting memories with all the new friends she makes at camp! You will love spending time in nature with Anna-Maria!
Jocelyn will be returning for her second year as a CIT and is just dying to play another epic game of dinosaur and capture the flag with you all, look out she has been considering her strategy all winter long. Jocelyn has so many diverse abilities and interests she just can’t wait to share with you all. cooking, baking, photography, painting, piano, reading, just to name a few. She would love to chat with you and get to know about all your favorite things to do! Look forward to sharing in all your favorite things with Jocelyn this summer!
